EA’s appraisal of Marc-Andre ter Stegen in FIFA 17 was very inaccurate. After a breakout season for the German goalkeeper, he was rated just 83. They set his handling at 81, which is his unique trait.

But this FIFA, we will be expecting a rating increase of 3 to 86, with increase in handling, positioning and diving. Ter Stegen enjoyed a brilliant 2016-17 season and has entered into the list of the best goalkeepers in the world and he cannot be stuck in the early 80s.

Also, EA need to increase his potential from 90 to 93, as he has the ability to turn into a world-class goalkeeper in the future.
