JAVIER MASCHERANO. 7. Javier Mascherano move back to Center Back for this match since Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba were available. Mascherano was solid in the back but made a couple of mistakes. 7.5. Pique was really good at the other CB position. With his passing, Barca was able to switch sides of the field the entire night. He also did well in possession too. Not bad for his return to the pitch from injury.. CB. FC Barcelona. GERARD PIQUE

7. Alba also came back off of an injury to play 60+ minutes in Glasgow. He was pressured a lot by the Celtic attack, but he handled the pressure well. Overall, a good return for him as well.. LB. FC Barcelona. JORDI ALBA

6.5. Neymar did well creating the assist for Lionel Messi’s first goal. However, chippy play got him a yellow card and he’ll miss the next Champions League match. Solid performance, but he has to keep a cool head.. LW. FC Barcelona. NEYMAR

6. Luis Suarez had a few chances to get on the scoresheet. However, he was unable to cash in those chances. Hopeuflly, his good form returns to play in the coming weeks.. ST. FC Barcelona. LUIS SUAREZ

RW. FC Barcelona. LIONEL MESSI (MOTM). 9. This Messi guy is pretty good. He seems to solve all of Barca’s problems. When Barca need him the most, he delivers nicely. A brace for the Argentine see’s through a tough match for the team.

Digne was able to get up and down the left flank when replace Jordi Alba. He wasn’t as good on the defensive end however. 50/50 performance from the new signing from PSG.. LB. FC Barcelona. LUCAS DIGNE. 5

6. Marlon made his first team debut replacing Gerard Pique. It’s good to see him playing for the senior team coming from Barca B. Overall, he played well considering that it was his debut.. CB. FC Barcelona. MARLON SANTOS
