Barcelona might look to take advantage of Gabigol’s low transfer value in January

Santos caused a major uproar in the footballing world in the summer after the Gabigol transfer. Barcelona’s first-option on Gabriel Barbosa was a part of Neymar’s move to the Camp Nou from Santos. Robert made an offer for him in the summer, but only to be rebuffed. Later, Santos officials claimed that it was the player who rejected the club. But by the time Barcelona could lodge a complaint with FIFA, Gabigol was already a Inter Milan player. But his start to life at San Siro has been horrible. He has been a bench-warmer for the Milan side and is very unhappy. His transfer value is at an all-time low and Barca might look to take advantage of that. He is a mercurial talent who Robert could sign on a bargain. But if Gabriel is looking for first-team action, the Camp Nou may not be his first choice.
