Luis Enrique last renewed his contract after his first treble-winning season with the club. It was a 2 year deal that is due to expire on 30th June, 2017. He has been very successful at the Camp Nou, winning 8 trophies for the Blaugrana till date. But he had given no statement regarding his future at the club until last week. Barca TV interviewed him.

However, I’m still planning the club’s immediate future.”
