The Frenchman was a teammate of both Luis Enrique and Pep Guardiola, the two most successful Barca managers of the 21st century. Blanc had a very good reign as manager of Paris Saint-Germain. He remodeled the team after the financial takeover of the club by Middle Eastern investors.

He won 11 trophies with them, despite having no success on the European stage. His passing style of play at PSG was very noticeable and it matches Barca’s philosophy. He is now without a club, which would make him one of the favourites to succeed Luis Enrique if he leaves.
