The Dutch maestro is a Barca legend. He was one of the few players to survive the years of turbulence at the Barcelona. After retiring, he has been a very successful manager. He managed Ajax for 6 years, winning 5 titles and overseeing development of players like Joel Veltman and current Barca goalie Jasper Cillessen.

He is known for his tiki-taka philosophy and would be an ideal manager for Barca. De Boer is now jobless after Inter sacked him, which can make it easier for Barcelona to acquire him as he would require no compensation.
