When the team needs to be calmed down, they look to Sergio Busquets for some possession of the ball. He suffers if the team isn’t performing to standards so he’ll need a little help. He’s a high quality midfielder.
Ivan Rakitic 6
Rakitic has fallen out of favor in the midfield with the emergence of Denis Suarez and many others. However, Lucho still has a lot of confidence in him. With the injuries in the midfield, the Croatian could see a lot of opportunities.
Denis Suarez 7
Suarez recently scored his first goal for Barcelona against Eibar. He, like Rakitic, could see more playing time in the next few matches with the current injury situation in the midfield.
Andres Iniesta 9
The creator. The maestro. Don Andres. His creation is unmatched by any midfielder playing right now. Barca lacks a different dimension without the Spaniard. Like many others, he must be able to stay on the pitch. His health hasn’t been good , but when he plays, the stars align.
Arda Turan 8
Arda’s improvement has gone unnoticed this season. The Turkish midfielder has done some wonderful things. He must continue to stay consistent when he’s given time.
Rafinha 6.5
Lucho has a lot of confidence with Rafinha. Despite some of his injuries, he shown a good attacking prowess.
Andre Gomes 5.5
Andre Gomes must continue to offer more contributions when he plays. He is one of Barcelona’s most recent summer signings. However, it takes time to become really good so patience is key.
