To Keep Stars, Barca May Sell Stars

Rafinha: The versatile player can be a replacement for both. Rafinha is more than capable of taking on Arda’s role as the fourth forward, ready to come off the bench to provide a spark. It would be more natural for him than replacing Rakitic, and costs no money.
Munir: The former starlet stalled a bit in his development, and is now on-loan at Valencia. But, still under Barcelona contract, and just 21, Munir can grow into the role of auxiliary forward. And, again, unless Barcelona cut his loan short, it likely would cost zero.

According to reports, in order to extend the contracts of mercurial stars Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta, Barcelona may be forced to sell key pieces.

Barcelona are generally not a selling club. Despite the past successes of their La Masia academy, they are a club that take advantage of sellers. Luis Suarez, Neymar, Jordi Alba and more are prime examples of that. Barcelona usually keeps players until they are no longer good enough, so it’s rare to see them in a situation like this, where they are set to sell a player in the prime of their career.

But who will it be?

The above poll sets a good list, although Aleix Vidal likely wouldn’t make a big difference within Barcelona if sold. However, Rakitic and Turan are perhaps the two most likely suspects. Let’s determine who should really be sold by Barca.
