The Turkish International has seen his playing time go down but in the last four games he has started 3 times* and been pretty lackluster. Some, here on Everything Barca, have speculated about a possible exit. This can happen since his play is not good, against Betis the midfield in particular had a bad game, allowing too much space and not attacking the ball. Pressure is what makes Barcelona’s system work and it was lacking in this game. Luis Enrique took him out in the 68th minute and that could be a sign that he is going to give Andre Gomes or Denis Suarez a chance before him.
