The Frenchman has been poor lately and in a huge spot Luis Enrique chose for him to be a part of the three-man back. He underwhelmed, I had hoped for a surprisingly great match but he was just ok. We know he is a backup but for such a big game going with him over the traditional four man back is a gutsy move for Enrique. However, his faith was rewarded with a win even if the formation was not a key part of it.
