Massimiliano Allegri is undoubtedly one of the best coaches of the world. His tactical skills are admirable and he is reputed for having great man-management skills.
Allegri is an in-demand coach in world football. Reportedly, he is being courted by Arsenal to succeed Arsene Wenger if he leaves at the end of the season. But the Camp Nou will always present a better challenge than the Emirates. Allegri’s contract expires in 2018, therefore, his compensation fee will not be skyrocketing.
With Barcelona’s interest in gaining his signature, we could see him at the Camp Nou at the end of the season.

Pochettino’s management skills had attracted the attention of clubs like Paris-Saint Germain and Manchester United, when Louis van Gaal and Laurent Blanc were sacked, respectively. And now, Robert Fernandez has expressed interest in bringing him to the Camp Nou. But he has given the same answer he had given before, a strict ‘no‘.
In an interview with BBC Sport, he said, “I know [how it works] it very well. I was born not with a bull but a ball in my arms. Ball, not bull. I understand very well the business and you do, too.
What I’m trying to explain is that I know very well the business, the football. Because when I was born, it’s true – my mum and my dad put not a bull, a ball in my arms.
It’s a metaphorical example to say that I understand football, the business. I understand that my name will be on a list.”
In a later press conference, he was asked whether his past tenure as Espanyol head coach would make it difficult for him to manage Barcelona. Pochettino replied, “I can only say that I am happy here. I don’t want to speak because if I speak too much it’s possible that people can twist my words.”
