Could Liverpool star midfielder Phillipe Coutinho be the right player for Barcelona?

Despite his recent dip in form, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is widely regarded as one of Europe’s finest talents with plenty of untapped potential. His constant links to Barcelona only strengthen those claims.

Neymar, Coutinho’s compatriot and current Barcelona star, has often made comments stirring the pot a bit in regards to pushing Coutinho to move to Catalonia. The 24-year old is seen as perhaps an ideal replacement for the aging (yet still brilliant) Andres Iniesta.

Once again, Neymar has fired up the rumor mill.

Whether he is just being open about wishing to play with a friend or truly pining for Coutinho to switch the red of Merseyside for the Blaugrana, its intriguing. However, would the man who spent a season on-loan at Espanyol be a good fit?
