What a terrible week for the Uruguayan national team and it’s players. Luis Suarez headed up this team and they performed far below expectations losing both qualification games, first at home against Brazil taking a 4-1 clubbing and Luis Suarez played poorly. Secondly and just as surprisingly, a loss in Peru 2-1, where Luis Suarez again did very little and looked lethargic at times. Hopefully for the Uruguayan team and Barcelona this is just a bad form from the entire team because if the reliance on Luis is very high it’s clear the Uruguayan team will not make it to the World Cup. Luis Suarez is a sniper and needs to be fed more often than not, which he gets at Barcelona but not so much in Uruguay. A bad week for Luis Suarez. (Stats from ESPNFC)
