Here are the latest transfer rumors involving Barcelona players and this time we have Rafinha and  Arda Turan in the news.

Multiple reports suggest that Rafinha is on his way out of Barcelona

Rafinha has been one of the most important squad players this season. Injuries limited his time on the pitch. But nonetheless, he performed well when called upon. But a player of his ability and potential deserves more time on the pitch.

He hasn’t got that this season. Although Luis Enrique favours him, he was unwilling to give Rafinha the opportunities he wanted. Also, the new manager at Barca is unlikely to stray from his predecessor’s policy towards Rafinha. Lucho’s successor might even lessen Rafinha’s playing time. Therefore, a move would be best for Rafinha at this stage of his career.

There are many top European clubs vying for Rafinha’s signature. The most prominent among them are Juventus and Arsenal. According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marrotta wants to take advantage of Rafinha’s situation at the Camp Nou to lure him away from Barcelona. Therefore, they are the front-runners in this race.

But Barcelona negotiators are looking for another way to ship Rafinha off – by using him in a deal for another player. These kinds of transfer have occurred in Barcelona’s history. The most famous of this kind of transfer was the one involving Samuel Eto’o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But this time around, it can be involving Philippe Coutinho and Rafinha. While Liverpool are asking for crazy sums of money, Rafinha going the other way can lower the cash by a lot. It is unlikely that Liverpool will refuse to take on a player of Rafinha’s caliber.

Although he cannot be compared to Coutinho, his loss can be compensated through money. This report comes from Don Balon, who claim Barca will use Rafinha to convince Jurgen Klopp to let go of Philippe Coutinho.

Serie A clubs come calling for Arda Turan

Both Napoli and Inter Milan have expressed interest in signing Arda Turan. Reportedly, Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut earlier said, “Arda is going to continue at Barcelona. He has no other plans and he is very happy there.”

But that has turned out to be a complete lie. Bulut has made a U-turn. According to Sport, he took part in a meeting with Inter officials. It was held at a place near the club offices in Milan. They are looking to offer around €20 million for the 30-year old.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentis has also acknowledged Napoli’s interest in the player. He said, “If necessary he’s an option we can take into account.”

But the money is unlikely to be enough for Barcelona. It would a loss of €17 million, as he was signed for €37 million. Sport have reported that Barcelona would let Arda go for a minimum of €28 million. But the club would prefer an offer from a Chinese club.

In January, Guangzhou Evergrande offered €60 million for the player. Barcelona accepted the bid but Turan was not interested. But this time, if such a bid is made, Robert Fernandez is sure to intervene in order to make the move happen.
