A new season awaits the seasoned campaigners at FC Barcelona. However, among the backdrop of familiar faces, one fresh face stands out. That is the face of Ernesto Valverde, the newly appointed Barca manager. In this article, I attempt to gauge the amount of success that the club will achieve in the upcoming season.

It is futile to be idealistic and assume that Barca will win everything. Instead, a more realistic approach has been adopted by taking a host of factors into consideration. Predictions have been made on four parameters which are; domestic success (La Liga), European success (UEFA Champions League), cup competition success (Copa Del Rey) and finally, success in player development.
