FC Barcelona transfer rumour update – Rafinha and Philippe Coutinho
Barcelona offer Rafinha to Arsenal
It is finally certain that Rafinha does not have a future at the club. He was struggling to get into the team because of the overcrowded midfield. After suffering from a knee injury, everyone at Barcelona quietly accepted that the Camp Nou was not the ideal place for him.

But it was always hard for Robert Fernandez to ship him off. Rafinha was hugely injury-prone even before he started to make an impression. Also, he was never a starter for Barca, even when the squad was in dearth of depth. Now, this injury has made it even harder to get him out.
But Rafinha is also angling for a move. Earlier, he had said, “My future is open and God only knows what will happen.” But it is likelier by the day that he will leave.
According to Sky Sports, Robert Fernandez is set to offer Rafinha to Arsenal. Apparently, Barca will demand a fee of €30 million. Arsenal had earlier expressed interest in signing him. But the move never materialised, it might now. Although it remains to be seen if Wenger agrees to sign a player who is still out for 3 months.
Barcelona submit €80 million bid for Philippe Coutinho
Barca have given up for Marco Verratti. It is obvious now as Robert Fernandez is now going after former target Philippe Coutinho. The English media has confirmed the fact that Barcelona have submitted the bid.
But the question is, will Coutinho agree personal terms, and more importantly, will Klopp allow Coutinho to leave? Coutinho has always been torn between Liverpool and Barca and Jurgen Klopp has always rejected the move in public.
"Klopp recently made a statement on this rumour. He said, “I can say 20 times, he is not for sale.”"

He will not let go of Coutinho, and the owners too are reluctant to see him leave. The only way to acquire his services is by convincing the Merseyside club that they are benefiting. Spanish publication Don Balon has reported that Liverpool reject the €80 million bid and ask for Rafinha and Andre Gomes in addition to a sizable fee.
