EA downgraded Andre Gomes from their original rating, 84 to 83 and it is Gomes’ season in a nutshell. He enjoyed a disastrous campaign. He was castigated by fans and the media alike.

But it is too harsh by downgrading a player based on a single season. Andre Gomes performed consistently for his previous club, Valencia but he could not adjust to Lucho’s tactics. The evaluation team should retain Gomes’ rating from FIFA 17’s Winter Update.
