AC Milan express interest in Rafinha

Although the club has given every indication that it wants to keep Rafinha, the Brazilian playmaker is not getting enough playing time. The overcrowded midfielder just that too much talent for him to break into the first-team.

But no club has made an offer yet for him. Rafinha is injury-prone and it is one of his major cons. But nonetheless, Arsenal had registered their interest but they did not make a formal approach.

Now, Milan have expressed their interest in Rafinha. According to Mundo Deportivo, Milan want him as a replacement for the departing M’Baye Niang. Rafinha has succeeded at Barcelona subbing in for Lionel Messi.

It was enough to convince Vincenzo Montella that he can make an impact as a winger at the San Siro. But there are doubts as to whether this deal can go through because Rafinha is out injured right now. Therefore, he will not serve as an immediately replacement for Niang.

Barcelona close to sealing Di Maria deal


Barcelona are set to complete yet another inpopular move. The fans hate Angel di Maria as he played for Real Madrid. But the board feels that Di Maria is a more adequate replacement for Philippe Coutinho than Jean Seri.

According to Sport, Barcelona have agreed terms with the player and also with Paris Saint-Germain over his fee. The fee is €50 million. Di Maria is a very talented player, and will go a long way in appeasing Lionel Messi.

But he is not the player that the Barcelona board need to bring him to restore their credibility. The relationship between the two clubs is at its worst. A transfer dealing now will be very unpopular, even though PSG are more than happy to sell him to make space for Neymar.
