Napoli submit €30 million offer for Denis Suárez

Although he has become a favourite of Ernesto Valverde, that is not stopping clubs from pursuing targets. Napoli have finally materialised their interest in Denis Suárez. They, along with Tottenham had expressed interest in signing him earlier but none of them had made an approach until now.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Napoli have submitted an official bid for Suárez. Barcelona have probably not responded to it, obviously seeking to delay talks. But the player himself clearly indicated that he intended to stay at Barcelona.

He tweeted :

He knows that he will get more opportunities this season. Also, Napoli want him for the wings, which he does not intend to play in. This is because he is slowly settling into the role of the natural successor of Andrés Iniesta as the team’s primary playmaker.

Juventus reject Barcelona’s panic bid for Paulo Dybala

The Barcelona’s board greatest weakness is it’s inability to be composed in tough times. The board sanctioned the move for Paulinho, which was nothing but a transfer rooting in confusion. The signing resulted in the ousting of Sergi Samper from the squad, and hence, the loss of a La Masia product.

Today, Barcelona submitted a €160 million bid for Paulo Dybala. The club had already given up on Dybala when the window started. But the board sanctioned the bid regardless. The bid was met with contempt in Turin and was rejected.

Instead of following the policy of panic buying, the club should focus its attention on more pressing matters, like offloading players like Thomas Vermaelen and André Gomes and signing Philippe Coutinho.
