Barcelona registered a dominant performance against Juventus in the Champions League, but it left many stars tired
Barcelona have a brilliant record against Getafe in the La Liga, winning 11 of the 12 matches played. But this season is going to be no different from the past seasons. Under Ernesto Valverde, the squad is getting together and has begun to peak.
But the Juventus game took a lot out of players like Andrés Iniesta and Ivan Rakitić. Therefore, there will be changes in the starting XI. Especially because Getafe are minnows and the fringe players in the squad deserve a chance.
Expected starting XI :-
Goalkeeper : Marc-André ter Stegen
Right-back : Nélson Semedo
Centre-back(left) : Samuel Umtiti
Centre-back(right) : Gerard Piqué(vice-captain)
Left-back(right) : Jordi Alba
Defensive midfielder : Paulinho
Playmaker(left) : Denis Suárez
Playmaker(right) : André Gomes
Left forward : Ousmane Dembélé
Centre forward : Paco Alcácer
Right forward : Lionel Messi(captain)

The midfield trio of Sergio Busquets, Andrés Iniesta and Ivan Rakitić has started the last two games and they are absolutely knackered. Their average age is around 30 and they need some rest.
But it is not as if they do not have able replacements. Paulinho could be in for his first start in a Barcelona shirt, while Denis Suárez and André Gomes deserve the opportunity to showcase their talents.
But the defence has shown no signs of fatigue earlier. Therefore, Ernesto Valverde should be retaining Gerard Piqué and Samuel Umtiti, as well as Nélson Semedo and Jordi Alba.
Luis Suárez needs a rest immediately. Both his club and national coaches rushed him into action and he can fire on all cylinders against Eibar. On the other hand, Ousmane Dembélé should play yet again to get a proper taste of the La Liga.

And Messi, if Ernesto Valverde removes him from the starting lineup, Bartomeu will be impeached the next day and Valverde will be fired.
