In light of the recent events happening between Spain and Catalonia, the latest in the ‘What If’ series talks about the possibility of Barcelona leaving La Liga.

This article is an update to the ‘What if’ I’d written a couple of months back, which talked of Catalonian Independence. In light of the events that took place on the 1st and in the aftermath of the referendum, it seemed apt to update the previously written article. In this article, I look to examine the events and the consequences of the referendum and what that may mean for FC Barcelona, as a club, and for its players.
