Denis Suárez has been linked to a move away from the Camp Nou since the summer transfer window. Then, Napoli were just scouting him and now, they are looking to materialise their interest. But Denis has categorically rejected a transfer.

He even slammed the club in the process.

"He said, “I do not want to leave. I’ve said it for a long time. My teammates encouraged me to continue in the summer and I do not plan to leave [in January]. I want to succeed at Barça. I have the feeling that whatever I do I am in the market. I have rejected proposals so the rumours do not come from me, I have not heard any offers.”"

This can come as a blow for Napoli, because they lack personnel to perform day in day out. With Arkadiusz Milik out injured, only Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens are capable of doing the damage up top. Hence, Denis Suárez would be a welcome arrival at the Stadio San Paolo.

But similarly, it would be beneficial for Barcelona to keep him as he is the heir apparent of Andrés Iniesta in the first-team, if the club doesn’t sign Philippe Coutinho.

Barcelona tracking Paris Saint-Germain youngster Yacine Adli

More from Everything Barca

Yacine Adli has risen from no one to an internationally wanted youngster by doing well in just one event, the UEFA Youth League. The Frenchman has been with Paris Saint-Germain since childhood but has decided against renewing his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

This is for two reasons. Adli will probably not get his chance to shine at the Parc de Princes due to all the big-money signings made by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. Also, his performances have earned him scrutiny from the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona.

Barcelona are closely monitoring his progress. There are still 5 rounds to play in the UEFA Youth League and the club might make a move if he does well in these games. Adli favours Bayern Munich or Barcelona over Manchester City.

That may give the club an edge but only if Pep Segura deems it fit to make a move for the talented youngster at the end of the season.
