4. Mauro Icardi

Mauro Icardi spent a good part of his youth career at Barcelona. He joined from his boyhood club Vecindario in 2008 but he couldn’t break into the B team, and left for Sampdoria. In Italy, he experienced a meteoric rise, and earned himself a move to Inter Milan.

In his first season at Inter, he acted as an understudy to compatriot Rodrigo Palacio and eventually replaced him in the first-team. Then, he rose to become captain and still leads the side. Icardi has scored 87 goals in 140 appearances for Inter.

Icardi would be a good fit for the first-team. He knows the club because of his 3-year stint in the youth academy. But he might prove to be too expensive considering that the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid are interested in signing him.
