2. Arthur

Arthur is one of the hottest prospects in the world. He has had a brilliant season for Grêmio in the Campeonato Brasileiro and the Copa Libertadores. Currently, he is in demand across Europe but Barcelona are in pole position to sign him.

There is only one reason why he isn’t the best option out there. He has the talent, the skill and the ability to make it at the club. Hence, quality is not a problem with him. The only problem is integration.

When players arrive from Brazil, they need a couple of seasons to fit into Europe before they can extract their best out of them. Players like Ronaldinho and Casemiro are ideal examples of this trend.

Arthur will also need time, and that is, again, something Barcelona cannot pay €50 million for.  A direct replacement for Iniesta is required, and Arthur is not that. But if given time, he can become one of the best midfielders in the world.
