Barcelona looking forward to Yerry Mina’s famous dances

Barcelona’s most recent signing Yerry Mina is not only known for his strong control on the ball and tall height but his celebratory dances has everyone raging about the Colombian defender.

At only 23 years-old, the centre-back has signed a deal with one of the most elite clubs in world football and Barcelona supporters will be counting down the days until they can see their new player in Blaugrana colours.

Since Javier Mascherano made his departure from the Catalans clear, set to exit the club on January 31st, Barcelona have been on the hunt for his replacement.

And their search has led to penning a deal with ex-Palmeiras man Mina for 12 million euros.

In a recent press conference, Barca boss Ernesto Valverde spoke on the player’s famous dances moves and suggested joy in football is never a bad thing.

"“A little joy in football is never a bad thing,” he indicated in the pre-match press conference.“What I like is for my players to score the goals, what happens after doesn’t interest me.“I like players who are confident, we hope he will fit into the group well, he must train with the team and learn our style.”"

On Saturday evening, the South American star participated in his first training with the team but has not been called up to travel with his new club to San Sebastian.

Mina will have to watchthe  La Liga match between Barca and Real Sociedad on his couch, while Lionel Messi and Co. take on one of the most difficult sides in the Spanish league. Barcelona hasn’t been successful recently when traveling to the Anoeta.

The footballer is very eager to get started and is ecstatic of playing alongside Barcelona’s greats such as Messi, Iniesta, Umtiti and Pique. Overall, Yerry Mina seems like a great signing considering the price of other defenders on the transfer market.
