Barcelona’s stars fired on all cylinders this season, but they were backed up by a bunch of determined individuals who were absolutely relentless in their approach to every single game. They were never in the spotlight, always operating in the shadows.

Sometimes, the players who play the most unexciting football are those who make a truly wholesome contribution to the team. This season, these players were not in plenty, with some fringe players underperforming.

But still, some ‘non-star’ players shone throughout the long, physically draining season.
