4. Lucas Digne

Lucas Digne has shown that he is defensively better than Jordi Alba. Whenever he has been called upon, the 24-year old Frenchman has been solid at the back but hesitant in the final third. But regardless, he has had a very good season.

While he has missed out on the bigger games, he has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season. Digne has proven that he has the potential to succeed at Barcelona, with good passing skills.

The young left-back has also distinguished himself from Jordi Alba through the fact that he has a very prominent aerial presence. But he needs to work on his crossing if he wants to compete with Jordi Alba for a place in the first-team next season.
