Barcelona : Aleix Vidal set to rejoin Sevilla
Barcelona is set to offload Aleix Vidal to his old club
After three seasons and 49 appearances in all competitions, Aleix Vidal is set to leave Barcelona. He couldn’t make an impact under either Luis Enrique or Ernesto Valverde, and will be rejoining his former club, Sevilla, who will pay around €10 million for his services.
The club signed him for €18 million, and will be taking a loss of €8 million. But that is still better than keeping him on the bench for the majority of the season, and allowing his career to decay. But there is still a condition for the transfer to go through.

Joaquin Correa is going to move to Lazio from Sevilla, as a replacement for Brazilian star forward, Felipe Anderson, who joined West Ham earlier this summer. The Sevilla management is looking to bring in Aleix Vidal as a replacement for the Argentina.
The Andalusians will only make a move for Vidal once the departure of Correa has been confirmed. Barcelona have been reluctant to release the 28-year old right-back, before a confirmation of the deal by Sevilla, an event which is yet to take place.
And as for his replacement, the squad has already signed one. Sergi Roberto and Nélson Semedo are fully capable of handling things at right-back, while Sergi Palencia can always lend a helping hand. As for the backup to Ousmane Dembélé, the club has signed Malcom.
Aleix Vidal was an useful squad player last season. But in the upcoming season, he would not have got much playing time, and the move back to Sevilla will only help his career.
