Barcelona are on the lookout for a new left-back
With Barcelona head coach failing to put trust in youngster Juan Miranda to act as backup to first-choice left-back Jordi Alba, club CEO Oscar Grau has already given an indication that the club might make signings in January for the second consecutive season.
Currently, Éric Abidal is weighing up his options. The former Culé knows the required profile for a potential left-back signing, having played in the position himself under Frank Rijkaard and his successor Pep Guardiola.
There are many options available to Abidal, including high-profile and in-demand players like José Gayà. But considering the fact that the club prefers to spend little mid-season, the technical secretary should look up other, cheaper options.
