5. Jorge

Jorge is one of the finest young left-backs in Europe. The 22-year old Brazilian full-back came to Europe as a hot prospect on a €8 million deal from Flamengo, joining Monaco. He made 26 appearances in all competitions before moving to Porto on loan.

He is yet to make his debut in the Primeira Liga due to the presence of Alex Telles in the squad, but is expected to get an opportunity sometime soon. Jorge has a lot of potential, and is an experienced international, having mad 12 appearances for Brazil at youth level.

Jorge is solid at the back, but is more of an attacking left-back, just like all Brazilian full-backs. He has a lot of pace, and can run up and down the left flank throughout the game without tiring. He is also a good crosser of the ball.

The 22-year old Porto left-back would take time to adapt to the Barcelona style of play, but he could adjust in time to act as an adequate backup for Jordi Alba. But it will be hard for Éric Abidal to convince Monaco to let go of their earmarked future first-team left-back.
