2. Marcelo Saracchi

Ever since he joined RB Leipzig from River Plate, 20-year old Uruguayan left-back Marcelo Saracchi has been a revelation. He has made 7 appearances in all competitions this season, doing very well under high pressure due to €12 million price tag.

He has a lot of experience on international level, having made 48 appearances for Uruguay on youth levels, even winning the Under-20 South American Championship in 2017. Undoubtedly, Marcelo Saracchi has a lot of potential.

Saracchi is an attacking left-back, with good crossing and passing. Although he might be a bit hot-headed at times, he will mature with age and has already started his integration into European football with the Bundesliga, where he hopes to displace Marcel Halstenberg at Leipzig.

But signing him will be particularly difficult for Éric Abidal to sign Saracchi. Leipzig are unlikely to let go of their pet project just a few months they paid a hefty fee of €12 million to sign him. But if he wishes to move to a bigger club, their hands will be fettered.
