Barcelona need to pay €15 million to sign Adrien Rabiot
Barcelona has been asked to submit a bid of €15 million for Adrien Rabiot
Paris Saint-Germain have made it clear that they do not want to keep Adrien Rabiot till the end of the season, after the 23-year old defensive midfielder was frozen out of the squad on request of Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Barcelona have been asked to pay a fee up-front to sign him in January.
PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has put a price tag of €15 million on the France international. The Parisians prefer to bag a fee now instead of letting him go for free in the summer, especially with Rabiot’s suspension from first-team duties.

Éric Abidal has already negotiated terms of his potential future contract with his agent and mother, Veronique Rabiot. But the club is yet to give the green light while negotiations with Ajax over Frenkie de Jong are ongoing.
Rabiot may be getting a little frustrated due to Barça’s reluctance to go for it. His mother may already be negotiating with other interested clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham. But this development may give a wake-up call to Barcelona.
On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain are also negotiating with Frenkie de Jong as a replacement for Adrien Rabiot. Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also in the running. Barça are in the danger of losing out on both targets, leaving no alternatives.
The club needs to get ahead of PSG when it comes to the race for De Jong’s signature, and give up on him early if it does not look good so that Rabiot also doesn’t slip out.
