Barcelona have two suitors for André Gomes
André Gomes will leave Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window
André Gomes has broken into the Everton first-team, and manager Marco Silva wants his compatriot to stay at Goodison Park beyond the end of the season. Barcelona have no problems with making the loan deal permanent either.
Everton are willing to match Barça’s demands of a fee between €25 million and €30 million. The Toffees have sent their sporting director Marcel Brands to the Catalan capital on many occasions, and an agreement is imminent.
But Inter Milan have also registered interest in André Gomes. They want to put their finances in order by qualifying for the Champions League before approaching Barça with an offer. So, the club has been requested to put off the deal till the end of the season.

This puts Barça in an unique position, one which can allow to spark off a bidding war. The 25-year old Portuguese playmaker is very talented, and is still highly-rated in the transfer market. Maybe Barça can even recoup the €35 million paid to Valencia for his signature.
But wherever André Gomes ends up next season, it will not be at the Camp Nou. He was terrible under both Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde, and the squad cannot accommodate him. Moreover, Barça need to keep the spiralling wage bill under control.
In all probability, André Gomes is going to be the first among the many departures expected this summer. On-loan Arda Turan, injury-prone Rafinha and Paco Alcácer will follow the Portugal international out of the Camp Nou at the end of the season.
