Barcelona could loan out wantaway star to PSG of all clubs
Barcelona could find a suitor for Philippe Coutinho in Paris Saint-Germain
Philippe Coutinho is going to leave Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window, but Éric Abidal is yet to find a suitor for the Brazil international. Manchester United have shown interest but are offering a fee which is inadequate.
But one of Coutinho’s former suitors have entered the race for his signature. Barça had beaten Paris Saint-Germain to the former Liverpool man, but now the Parisians could end up signing him. They plan on bringing in Coutinho on loan for next season.
PSG want Coutinho to link up with international teammate Neymar, trying to replicate the combo which worked wonders in Russia. But the Qatari-owned club will only make the deal permanent if Coutinho manages to perform up to expectations, thus avoiding Barça’s mistake.

Barça will not have to pay Coutinho’s salary for the time he is out on loan. That will be a huge relief for an overburdened wage bill, and Coutinho will probably get himself a move away from Barça regardless of PSG make the move permanent.
Coutinho’s move to PSG is a win-win situation. But there is another opportunity here which is very exciting, that is the potential return of Neymar. The Brazilian superstar left Barça 2 years ago, but could return to play under Ernesto Valverde in an exchange deal.
Due to the consistently dropping value of Coutinho in the transfer market, Barça will need to pay a hefty sum for Neymar. Whether the club wants to make such an investment depends on Éric Abidal’s handling of finances, but the possibility does exist.
