Ever since Coutinho has left the Camp Nou on loan to the Allianz Arena, he has shown magnificence and he has done that in a remarkable manner.

It is a no brainier that Philippe Coutinho is happy at Bayern Munich and he seems to have regained his confidence and clearly he is brimming a lot more than he did at Barcelona. Diario SPORT reports that Bayern are extremely happy with his performances and are willing to break their own record of their highest transfer fee, should they continue.

More from FC Barcelona News

Philippe Coutinho is currently on a loan at Munich and he has been impressive with his current set of performances and therefore it isn’t really much of a surprise that the Bavarians are looking to keep him. However, the only barricade that might concern them is the price tag but they’ve only had one player above the 50 million mark in the past and it shows that they spend the right amount on the right player. Having established this, one can safely assume that the price tag shouldn’t be much of an issue for them.

Die Roten Bullen do have a buy option in the deal but they must pay 120 million euros to trigger the release clause. At the moment, Coutinho’s move is a result of a 8.5 million euros’ loan deal between the two clubs. Bayern broke their record of their most expensive transfer this summer when they landed Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez for a sum of 80 million euros. For a club like Bayern, funds shouldn’t be much of an issue but it is clear that they trust performances over the player reputation and hence they might be just willing to go for Coutinho.

It is clear that Barça are trying to recoup the money that they spent on Coutinho as he never fit into the combination at the club and hence, lost out on his confidence as well as form. With his morale so high at the moment, it is pretty evident that Coutinho might have a future destination in his mind at the moment and it might well be his present one (at the Allianz Arena). Barça have moved on from Coutinho and should they get an offer anywhere near 120 million euros, they should take it.
