Barcelona defender reveals the club of his choice before joining
Barça defender Jean-Clean Todibo has revealed that he was all in to be a part of Juventus before joining the Blaugranes, as reported by the Cadena Ser.

The 19 year-old was snapped up by Barcelona last season. Juventus were the favorites to land the defender but Barça stepped just in time and snatched the buy from The Old Lady. In order to convince Todibo to play at the Camp Nou, talks were held with Eric Abidal who then convinced Todibo and his family that Barcelona was the place where his career could grow.
Jean further revealed in an interview with the Cadena Ser that he was surprised with the humility that was shown by Messi and he revealed that he is often surprised by the appetite shown by Dembele and the time that goes in his resting periods. However, he also disclosed that Dembele works a lot in the gym and is a serious person. He also talked about how he wanted to join Juventus before becoming a part of Barcelona.
Last season, Barça exercised the option to buy him on a permanent basis instead of sending him back on a loan to Toulouse till the end of the last season.

The youngster however, has failed to break into the first team on a regular basis, starting only twice spread over the current and the last season. With time still on his side, he could be a long term prospect for the Blaugranes but if he wants to start on a consistent basis, he needs to up the ante by a notch and grab all the eyeballs in the practice sessions.
