Barcelona have entered the race with Arsenal to sign PSV’s prospect in Donyell Malen, as reported by Mirror UK.
The equation now is simple, both Barcelona and Arsenal are looking to sign the £50 million valued striker.

Malen has been in lethal form in recent times having found the net on 16 occasions out of which 10 of them came from 9 appearances at the Eredivisie. This also includes the game in which he scored 5 goals, against Vitesse.
Therefore it is a no brainier that some of Europe’s top teams are looking to sign the 20 year-old. Moreover, Arsenal are looking to regain the services of Malen, who they once sold to PSV a couple of years back. The more surprising fact is that Arsenal valued him at only £200,000 at the time of his departure.
It is believed that AC Milan are also interested in the youngster and could soon enter the race. However, it is highly unlikely that Malen would be looking to join the team that once let go of him and hence he could join either of Barcelona or Milan with the Blaugranes being the favorites.
The Catalans have started looking for suitable replacements for Suarez who has been inconsistent and a tad slow in recent times. In short, he isn’t ageing at the pace that Barca want him to. Malen presents himself as a valuable option and with his price set at a reasonable rate and with his peak yet to come, Barca should go for him. They should look to groom him if the transfer does happen.
