Goal reports that the 27-year-old’s advisors are in talks with the Spanish champions over their respective lawsuits.

To explain in brief, shortly after the world record transfer to PSG, Barca refused to pay the €26 million bonus included in the 2016 contract extension of the Brazilian. The club stated that the payment was rendered null and void after his departure from the Camp Nou, while Neymar and his father claimed that the forward completed his former contract when Blaugrana agreed to allow his release for the above-mentioned fee.

The Catalan giants then sued the Brazil international for around €8.5 million, saying Neymar signed an extension that would see him at the Nou Camp until 2021 and now want to recoup his “contract renewal bonus” along with further €8.5m in damages plus 10 percent in arrears, ESPN.

El Mundo reports that Neymar took a new legal action against the club, demanding €3.5 million in unpaid wages for his last month at Camp Nou, saying they had agreed to pay but broke their promise.

Neymar Sr in an interview with Cadena Ser states that this is a peaceful claim which is part of the original lawsuit.

"“It’s a demand about his termination when he left the club, Neither Barcelona nor us are worried. We will solve this situation.” Neymar’s father said."

However, when asked about his son’s highly speculated return to his former club, The father was reticent and stated that his son was still under contract with PSG. With that the Neymar to Barca saga continues
