Barcelona legend suggests the perfect Lionel Messi replacement

Neymar is currently at PSG and he was heavily touted to leave the Paris based Club in the summer. Reports of his probable discontentment did many rounds on the internet and Neymar had to face the brunt of it from the PSG fans.
As per Dailystar.co.uk, Barcelona legend Rivaldo has named Neymar as Messi’s successor at the club. He also spoke about the possible impact that Neymar could have on the club. It is to be noted that Valverde presented a player plus £182 million for Neymar this summer but an agreement wasn’t reached.

The 27 year-old’s future is highly uncertain at the moment and nothing can be said for sure. Neymar’s record breaking £200 million transfer deal to PSG from the Camp Nou saw him part ways with the club on not so healthy grounds.
Ever since Neymar’s departure, Barcelona have struggled to fill in his shoes and their latest experiment involves Griezmann. As per Rivaldo, Neymar could have the same impact that Messi currently has and that is to lead from the front.
Barca, who recently played out a draw against their bitter rivals Real Madrid, are also in a race with them to sign Neymar if he does actually intend to leave. For now, the rumour mill is of the opinion that Neymar misses his playing days at Barcelona.

The Blaugrana do need to accept the fact that Messi is nearing his end and he will not ever be the same player that he is today. The sooner the club accepts this fact, the better for them. Neymar is a suitable replacement for Messi and having played for a few years at the Nou, Neymar understands the club dynamics as well as anyone.
