Barcelona are nearing the sale of Jean-Clair Todibo with reports linking an exit in early January despite an unclear destination

According to Sport, Barcelona are ready to offload youngster, Jean-Clair Todibo, with the 19-year-old struggling to make his mark in the Barca defense. Reports have claimed that Manchester United, AC Milan, Monaco and Bayern Leverkusen are all lining up for the French international.

Todibo has had an impressive performance in his brief appearances for the Spanish side, playing only 4 matches for Blaugrana. However, despite opportunities to make more displays, the youngster has failed to push through for a spot in the first team. The French international is also, at the same time, considered to be too good to be playing for the reserve team and thus has not played for either side for months now.

Manchester United representatives visited the Catalan giants last week to discuss the possibility of a transfer for the Frenchman, as they look to add depth in their defense. However, Gazzetta Dello Sport claims that AC Milan have reached an agreement with the Catalan side and have moved onto discussing personal terms with Todibo in order to bring him to San Siro. Milan are in desperate need of a defensive overhaul and look to the former Toulouse defender to fix their issues.

Reports claim that the Spanish champions are prepared to sell the youngster for a fee of 20 million euros but would definitely add a buy-back clause to the player’s contract as they believe he has the ability to develop into a talented defender in the future.
