Juventus have reignited their interest in Barcelona full-back Juan Miranda and look to sign the loaned out defender in the Summer with an improved offer.

Juventus have previously made many attempts to sign the Barcelona youngster last summer but failed to reach an agreement as the Spanish giants only wanted a loan move for Miranda while Juve looked for a transfer.

Sport reports that the Serie A giants are looking to make another attempt for the Andalusian defender with an improved offer of €10 million with €5 million in variables along with an option to repurchase if Barca so chooses.

Miranda is currently on loan with the German club, Schalke, in order to gain first-team experience but has only managed to make 3 appearances this season as the teenager has not been able to push for a regular role, playing substitute for fellow 19-year old Ozan Kabak, who has been a consistent star for the Bundesliga side.

Juan joined La Masia in 2014, managing to make 40 appearances including 10 for UEFA U19 Barca squad. He made his first-team debut in a Champions League group fixture clash against Spurs which ended in a 1-1 draw. He also made 3 Copa del Rey appearances for the first-team squad, including being subbed off before half time during the 2-1 defeat against Levante.

Barca now have the option to evaluate the struggling full-back carefully as they could either accept Juve’s bid which includes a buyback option or counter with a loan demand instead.
