Barcelona targeting Real Madrid superstar for shock transfer
Barcelona may be set for a major revamp of their squad if they manage to get their hands on a Real Madrid midfielder against all odds.
Real Madrid and Barcelona probably have the most bitter rivalry in world football, which extends outside the stadiums and even into political and social matters. There have been several transfers between the two clubs and inevitably, the player switching to the other club has been given a very nasty reception upon his return to his former home.

Luis Figo is the epitome of such a case, when he ended up signing for Real Madrid from Barcelona and was welcomed into the Camp Nou in extremely revolting circumstances, including the throw of a pig’s head onto him from a fan. Diario GOL has claimed that the two clubs may shockingly deal in a player years after their previous agreement.
Isco has been targeted by the Blaugrana over a potential move during the summer. The former Malaga man is thought to be keeping the door open on a move to Catalonia as well, but there still seems to be a long way until anything is discussed between the Catalans and Los Merengues.
Barcelona were thought to be keen on bringing in Isco some months ago as well due to Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal, both facing uncertain futures at the club, but as things turned out, the likes of Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets all vetoed the player’s transfer due to his association with the Blancos and injury issues of back then.
Zinedine Zidane has now helped Isco into rejuvenating and is slowly getting the player back to his best, but the Frenchman may not be able to guarantee the midfielder a place back into his regular starting eleven with Federico Valverde’s emergence. That being said, Manchester City also continues to be a potential destination for the Spaniard.
