Ever since Neymar had his controversial exit from the club in 2017, Barcelona have struggled to fill his position. They have tried Coutinho and Dembele mainly, to fill up that position. The former is in on a loan at Bayern and the latter hasn’t exactly been inconsistent. The Catalans’ need for explosive speed and unpredictability can be found with Adama.

Adama had his own shortcomings last season and was criticised for the same. However, he seems to have found his mojo this time around. He has done enough to catch the eyes of Manchester City and Liverpool. The Reds have their own reasons behind chasing the forward.

However, for the time being it does seem that Traore might join Liverpool, a side which heavily favours the talented pool of youngsters that they’ve got. The Spaniard has a choice to make and that could very well define his career curve from here.

With Valverde not in the scene anymore, it still isn’t a bad idea to take up and groom the youngsters. Moreover, Adama is a graduate of Barca’s illustrious La Masia academy and hence there are indications that he might be tempted to join his parent club. Moreover, the asking price for him is set at £70 million and Barcelona can easily reach that sum.
