Barcelona will be doing a great deal of business in the upcoming summer’s transfer window, including the negotiation of a few exits.
Barcelona boss Quique Setien won on his debut as the club’s new manager, courtesy of Lionel Messi’s strike in a 1-0 success over Granada on Sunday evening. The Catalans got a much needed win, their first one of 2020 following a draw and defeat to Espanyol and Atletico Madrid respectively, with Ernesto Valverde in the dugout.

Setien will be expected to take Barca all the way in the three competitions that they are alive in over the next half of the campaign, but that is certainly not going to determine his future because in the summer, he will be given a budget as well as the authority to sign and sell the players that he wishes.
Among those who may be leaving, Arturo Vidal’s name has been suggested as a possible departure by Mundo Deportivo. The Chilean was a starter in the new manager’s first outing as Barcelona coach but the 61 year old does not seem to be very impressed with the midfielder and has decided to make do without his services from next season.
Vidal was a prime target for Inter Milan since the last few weeks, but a lack of development in the player’s future saw the Italian giants pull out of his chase. Antonio Conte still is a massive fan of the former Juventus star, but it now looks like he has twisted his focus towards signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen will certainly be a superb addition to the Serie A giants who already boast some world class players in their roster. Antonio Conte is building an absolutely brilliant squad at the San Siro and that would only become better if the former Chelsea boss could somehow fit Arturo Vidal into it as his adrenaline and physique on the field is matched by only a few.
Where do you see Arturo Vidal playing at following the end of this campaign?
