Barcelona are in the market to sign the successor to Luis Suarez with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lautaro Martínez leading the way, but recent revelation suggests it could be the Spur’s Ace

Mundo Deportivo reports that the Premier League club are willing to let go of their star striker for the right price, which is estimated to be around €160 million. The transfer, however, will only take place during the summer transfer window, which could prove to be a difficult situation for Barcelona as they are in the need of an immediate replacement to the injured Luis Suarez.

The Catalans’ technical staff are interested in the player and could make him a priority in the summer if they do not manage to secure Martinez, who is heavily wanted by many European giants.

The reason Spurs are willing to let go of their star striker is reportedly due to the cost of the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The club needs to recover part of the cost and as a result, are willing to sell the English international.

Spur’s No. 10 is currently recovering from an injury making it difficult for any transfer to take place in January. Even the Spanish champions are planning to sell a few of their players in order to balance the books from their previous expensive signings, with Philippe Coutinho being one of the favourites to be sold in order to gain the €120 million Bayern Munich would have to spend for the midfielder.

Barca will not be able to afford Kane until the summer transfer window, thus adding to their No. 9 dilemma with many potential candidates being linked with a move to the Nou Camp.
