Barcelona president paves the way for Neymar’s sensational return at Camp Nou by showing two major players the door.
Ever since Neymar left the Blaugrana in the summer transfer window of 2017 for a world record fee of 220 million euros, life has not been as easy as the Brazilian international thought it would have been in Paris.

The Brazilian winger decided to leave the Catalan club hoping that he could become the star player at PSG and even win the coveted champions league trophy. However, Kylian Mbappe has overthrown Neymar as the best player at the club and PSG has not been very successful at the European stage as well.
Several dressing room bust-ups with Cavani and other teammates followed by Neymar’s excessive partying habits in the city of Paris had caused a lot of tension and turmoil at the club. Fitness has also been a huge struggle for Neymar at PSG, the Brazilian international has missed a total of 61 games since he signed for the Parisian based club in 2017. All of this along with Neymar’s public behaviour lead to the spark of the transfer rumour saga about the former Barcelona winger’s return to Camp Nou.
According to Calcio Mercato, reports state that the Barcelona club president is willing to make changes at the club to finance the return of the former Barcelona star Neymar Junior.
The report clearly outlines how the club president Josep Maria Bartomeu is willing to show the door to a few crucial star players in order to generate sufficient revenue for the signing of the world’s most expensive player.
Barcelona could opt to load off Ousmane Dembélé and Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer market of 2020. Both the aforementioned players have not been at their very best ever since the signed for the Blaugrana.
Ousmane Dembélé has struggled with fitness and meanwhile, Philippe Countinho could not find his feet or his spark at Camp Nou which led to his loan move to Bayern Munich.
With Ousmane Dembélé being sidelined for the rest of the season and Bayern Munich not being interested in securing Philippe Countinho by paying 120 million euros, these two players seem to be the ideal target for Barcelona to load off in the summer transfer window.
