One of the most expensive players from the current Barcelona roster is contemplating a exit within one year from signing for the club.
Given the recent happenings surrounding Barcelona, it’s fair to argue that they are a club in crisis and architects of their own downfall. Ernesto Valverde’s firing was a panic move by the looks of it and more so, looking at the options that were available at that point in time. Even when Quique Setien has not been able to change much, it makes you think whether the problem was indeed with the coaching staff or underperforming players.

Lionel Messi is already thought to be exploring the prospect of a possible exit this summer, but it has always been something that’s been in the news. The Argentina international might end up staying but several other players may not want to spend their careers at a club whose board is not too adept at football and more business-minded.
Diario GOL has claimed that the club’s 120 million euro signing Antoine Griezmann is thinking about leaving in the summer, just one year after departing Atletico Madrid for a supposedly greener pasture. Griezmann is not very happy with how he has been welcomed in by Messi at the Camp Nou and on his part, he does have a point.
Barcelona’s captain has not made much of an effort to establish a chemistry with the World Cup winner and even on occasions when he could easily tee up Griezmann for a goal, he has looked for other options and passively shown his distaste towards the France international. As a matter of fact, Messi has worked on his composition with Ansu Fati more than Griezmann.
Antoine Griezmann will not have a shortage of options in case he decides to depart and he would be right to look for newer beginnings because Barca’s coaches have impeded him from even the most basic advantage- positioning- by playing him as a left winger instead of a striker. PSG could be an attractive destination for him, but a lot is still to unfold.
Do you see Antoine Griezmann leaving Barcelona in the upcoming summer’s transfer window?
