Now that the January market has just ended, many clubs are eagerly waiting for the next transfer window in the 2020-21 season. Barcelona plan on making maxim utilisation of the upcoming summer transfer market, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu plans on a proper revamp of the club and to bring in several world-class players.
The club president plans on generating the revenue to sign the world-class players by showing the door to certain underperforming stars at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona plan on bringing back their prodigal son Neymar from PSG and they plan to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan as a long term replacement of Luis Suarez. Barca plan on selling Coutinho and Dembele to generate sufficient revenue for the club to pull off their upcoming transfer market operations.
According to Eldesmarquee, Juventus have shown great interest in signing Barca’s most expensive player Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilan was brought to Camp Nou as a long term asset but unfortunately, the former Liverpool star has been more of liability for the club.
The former Liverpool is on the course of completing his season-long loan with Bayern Munich, however, in the rare turn of events, Bayern Munich is not interested in purchasing the talismanic midfielder.
This means that the Brazilian attacking midfielder will come back to the Camp Nou, but it is highly unlikely that the city of Barcelona will be his final destination
According to Eldesmarquee, Barcelona had initially set a price of 120 million for its record signing, however, that is a price tag that no club would be willing to pay for the Barcelona flop.
The report goes on to state that Bianconeri has negotiated a deal to be around 80 or 90 million for the Blaugrana’s record signing flop.
It is still too early to be sure that the former Liverpool star would be in Turin next season. With the appointment of Quique Setién, there could be a slight chance that Coutinho may be offered an important role under the former Real Betis manager.
Should Barcelona sell Coutinho to Juventus or should they offer him another chance?
