Barcelona’s need for a goal scorer is grave due of the fact that they are practically just reliant on Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez for the goods. The Catalans’ striker is injured and will probably not be back until next season, whereas Lionel Messi will soon turn 33 and needs to be replaced by the Blaugrana, who visibly struggle without his presence in the squad.
Real Madrid on the other hand need to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with a potent goal-scorer and apart from Kylian Mbappe, they have also shortlisted Mohamed Salah. Nevertheless, the focus of those in Spain’s capital is on signing the Paris Saint-Germain youngster and by the looks of it, his arrival is only a matter of time irrespective of price.
El Desmarque claims Mohamed Salah is thought to be in favour of signing up for the Catalan side after supposed persuading from Samuel Eto’o who played for both the clubs in his illustrious career. With that being said, Barcelona are also thought to be interested in signing the Liverpool ace but their priorities could be different at the moment.
Lionel Messi is thought to be pressurizing the club into landing Neymar from France and that is likely to be the Barca’s priority going into the summer. Moreover, there may be further spending with Lautaro Martinez also being tipped to make a move to the Camp Nou during the summer along with a summer, leading Salah’s transfer to probably wait.
Where do you think Salah would land up if he ends up leaving Liverpool?
