The 22-year-old Argentine striker has been on fine form and has formed one of the world’s most dangerous strike partnerships with former Manchester United star, Romelu Lukaku.
The new sensation at the San Siro has already scored 16 goals so far and has set up 4 assists.
Inter’s newly appointed revolutionary head coach Antonio Conte has full confidence in the Argentine striker from day one and neither has Lautaro disappointed the former Chelsea boss.
The young sensation has demonstrated his quality in front of the San Siro on several occasions, his mobility, eye for goal, balance and his calm composure on the ball makes him stand out from the other strikers. Sergio Aguero and Lautaro Martinez share the same style of play and several fans at the San Siro might even consider their number ’10’ a more lethal striker.
However, Barcelona’s captain Lionel Messi may not seem very convinced about the arrival of his fellow national teammate, since it will drastically reduce the possible opportunity for Neymar Junior to return from Paris Saint Germain ever since 2017, according to Don Balon.
The Blaugrana board has convinced Messi that the signing of both Lautaro Martinez and Neymar Junior is still feasible. For the Blaugrana to sign these two superstars some big heavyweights at the club would have to be shown the door. Reports state that Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele can be sacrificed to pull off this massive summer overhaul.
Inter Milan have already started their hunt to find a replacement for Lautaro, the Italian giants consider Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Timo Werner, Alexandre Laccazzette or Michy Batshuayi as a replacement.
Meanwhile, at Barca, the board can now sit back and count the remaining days for their new superstars to arrive.
